As our Finance Assistant at our Fenmarc business, you’ll be the person maintaining the financial operations, and in turn helping the business achieve its goals. You’ll drive success through accurate and timely processes, support our financial storytelling and reconcile our accounts with ease. You’ll help shape the financial future of our business by guiding us through IT and software change not seen before.
What you’ll be doing
These are the things you’ll be responsible and accountable for, and some of the tasks you’ll need to carry out
💼 Processing Pro – Recording invoices and cash transactions, resolving queries and discrepancies.
📊 Financial Storytelling – Provide financial information that help shape our storytelling, driving smart decisions.
💸 Revenue Recogniser – Take charge of customer claims to maximise revenues and drive cash collections.
🧾 Ledger Legend – Own the accuracy and tidiness of our customer and supplier accounts, keeping everything on point.
🤝 Customer and Supplier Partner – Resolving queries and maintaining relationships with our partners.
🌍 Software Superhero – Modernise the financial processes in the world of AI, making use of the automation available.
📋 Audit Ready – Providing audit ready information and guiding visits from our bank and financial auditors.
What you’ll have
This is the specific experience, qualifications and skills that we’re looking for-
Qualifications
- AAT part or fully qualified
Experience and Knowledge
- Sales and/or Purchase Ledger experience
- FMCG industry experience preferred
- Some accounting knowledge
- Software development experience

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Self-motivated and highly organised
