Purpose of the role

Ensure compliance by conducting audits, measurements, and sampling throughout the factory to maintain quality and safety standards.

What you’ll be doing

These are the things you’ll be responsible and accountable for, and some of the tasks you’ll need to carry out

  • Inspect Raw Materials: Check quality when they arrive and during storage.
  • Daily Hygiene Checks: Ensure key inspection points meet cleanliness standards.
  • Swab Wizardry: Complete all scheduled swabbing like a pro.
  • Sample Superstar: Log all swabs and samples for micro, pesticides, chemicals, nutrition, and effluent.
  • Raw Material Inspector: Assess in-house prepped raw materials.
  • GMP, HACCP & Audits: Perform audits at agreed times, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and conducting metal detection, washing, coding, integrity, and traceability audits as part of HACCP.
  • Follow-up Hero: Ensure corrective actions from audits are completed.
  • Raise the Red Flag: Identify and report non-conformances, then drive solutions.
  • Product Assessor: Evaluate product quality and composition daily.
  • Metal Detection Checks: Pre-start up metal detection and calibration tasks.
  • Concession Wizard: Assess and approve product mixes and in-process materials.
  • Paperwork Guru: Check, verify, and file all paperwork like a champion.
  • Shelf Life Detective: Perform shelf life assessments and reports.
  • PQD Investigator: Conduct Product Quality Data (PQD) checks and assessments.
  • Non-conformance Fixer: Support the resolution of any issues and drive improvement.
  • Calibration Whiz: Keep temperature probes and scales in check.
  • Trial Tester: Assess trial compositions for accuracy and quality.
