Fenmarc Supports Local Street Pride Group

Fenmarc has donated £250 to the Elm’s Street Pride group to help boost their clean-up efforts. Colleagues have also offered to join litter picks whilst continuing to keep the surrounding area looking tip-top. A spokesperson from Fenmarc said: “We’re pleased to make this donation to the Elm Street Pride group as the volunteers do an amazing job of helping to keep the village looking great. Fenmarc supports March Town Cricket Club Festival

Fenmarc are really pleased to be supporting the Sports Festival organised by March Town Cricket Club again this year. The 3 day festival held for 6-12 year olds is run by qualified coaches and covers a number of sports, including cricket. At the end of July, Fenmarc colleague Alex Thorne (pictured left) popped down to the event to hand over the Fenmarc sponsored caps to the Cricket Club.

10 years supporting March Town Football Club

On Saturday 29th July, our Managing Director Richard Anderson (above, left) attended the first March Town FC game of the season to present club Chairman Phil White (above, right) with a new kit to mark the tenth season of Fenmarc sponsorship. Fenmarc have been supporting March Town FC since 2007 and have been the main club sponsors, featuring our logo on the First and Reserve team kits for the past seven seasons. Fenmarc Walkers- Walk All Over Cancer

A number of Fenmarc colleagues are taking part in Walk all over Cancer with an aim of walking 10,000 steps a day throughout March.  This is all in hope of raising much needed funds for Cancer Research. Emergency services were called to our site at approximately 12pm on Thursday 9th February after four production colleagues showed symptoms of becoming unwell and in need of medical assistance. We were immediately concerned for the safety of not only the four colleagues involved, but for everyone working on site and worked alongside the emergency services to carry out an investigation. After medical attention of the four colleagues involved they were discharged at site without requiring any further treatment. Macmillan Coffee Morning

On Friday 30th September, Fenmarc colleagues hosted a cake sale with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support. Fenmarc managed to raise £56.41 for such a great cause.  A big thank you to colleagues who either baked or bought a cake on the day.

Fenmarc supports Sports Relief

On Friday 18th March, Fenmarc colleagues were given the opportunity to participate in numerous fun sports/games onsite as well as being able to enjoy a variety of delicious cakes made by various Fenmarc colleagues, this was all in aid of Sport Relief. The sports/games consisted of a coconut shack, football keepy-up, golf chip, hula-hoop activity and a basket ball challenge. More importantly, Fenmarc colleagues managed to raise £77.01 through the sales of cakes for Sports Relief. A big well done to all colleagues who supported such a great cause!  

Head shave & leg waxing helps Macmillan Cancer fundraising exceed £1330

On Friday 30th October, two Fenmarc colleagues agreed to put their bodies on the line in order to raise over £1000 for Macmillan Cancer. Joe Buckley agreed to have his head shaved whilst Aaron Wootton allowed us to wax his legs. This act raised a total of £1152.36. This fantastic amount is added to the £178.21 we raised in September for Macmillan coffee morning, meaning fundraising for Macmillan Cancer has now reached a grand total of £1330.57. This is a wonderful effort from all Fenmarc colleagues that have participated in either event or have donated money, so well done!

On Friday the 25th September, Fenmarc colleagues came together to bake, buy and try a large variety of cakes for the annual Macmillan coffee morning.  A grand total of £175 was raised and will be going to Macmillan Cancer charity.  A great effort from all of the Fenmarc colleagues.
