I work in fenmarc’s IT Support team, and it’s my role to help keep the business running by managing our systems and supporting our users.
Every day is different for me as if an issue arises which needs to be prioritised, then we have to shuffle our plans. The fact that my work is so varied keeps me engaged and is one of the reasons I love my job.
IT requires constant learning; sometimes we need to study a new technology or setup which means we also then teach ourselves or study something from scratch so we are constantly developing our skills.
I really enjoy helping people and learning about new equipment or software. The team at fenmarc is brilliant — working with great people makes a huge difference to your overall wellbeing.
When I’m not at work I do Pilates, and play computer games (who would have guessed!) Recently I have also taken up airsoft so I can play games but also get exercise and away from a desk.
