This role is all about leading, developing and empowering our operationally-focused teams — helping them grow, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be a key part of the senior leadership team, shaping strategy, driving improvement, and ensuring we continue to deliver excellence every day.

What you’ll be doing – 

Leadership & Culture

• Support and develop a high-performing operations team, building on existing strengths and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and growth.
• Champion continuous improvement across the business — encouraging curiosity, challenging the status quo, and enabling change through structured problem-solving and coaching.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where people feel valued and empowered.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee end-to-end operations — from planning and production through to despatch — ensuring delivery of all key metrics
• Collaborate with Technical, Commercial, and NPD teams to ensure operational readiness for new product launches and customer requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Strategy

• Drive CI initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Group Improvement team to identify and implement best practices across the site.
• Use data and insight to inform decision-making, track performance, and identify opportunities for innovation and investment.
• Working closely with the engineering team to focus on our factory reliability.

Safety & Compliance

• Lead by example in promoting a safety-first culture — there’s nothing we do at work that’s worth getting hurt for.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and audit standards at all times
• Set and uphold exceptional standards across all areas of the operation.

What you’ll have – 

• Experience in a senior operations leadership role within fresh food or FMCG manufacturing.
• A track record of developing and supporting high-performing teams.
• Deep buy-in and understanding of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset.
• Experience leading project teams is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A passion for progress — a drive to make things better, every day.
