I’m the Health and Safety/Training Manager at fenmarc, it’s my job to make sure everyone is safe on site and that all colleagues receive the right training.
The role involves developing and delivering training and development plans for the team, and ensuring on the job and compliance training is carried out effectively. Every day is different as there are always opportunities to improve safety, so sometimes I’m working on current projects and having discussions with key stakeholders, other times I’m ensuring training is fit for purpose.
I enjoy the freedom I have to make decisions and act. I enjoy the collaborative approach of the business. I like to work with other teams to get things done and I enjoy the enthusiasm they bring to the table. Seeing the results of our work always brings a sense of achievement and satisfaction.
Away from work I like cycling and cooking. I also enjoy fine dining, travel, and spending time with my family and friends.
