Purpose of the role

Do you love getting into the details and ensuring everything is just right? In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for managing all spec systems – from retailer specs and QAS to internal specs and raw materials. You’ll work closely with our talented Technical and Development teams to make sure every new product launch and product update is reflected accurately in all our specs.

Plus, you’ll get to bring products to life by coordinating artwork sign-off and approvals with retailers’ artwork houses. If you’re detail-oriented, love collaboration, and enjoy seeing products come together from concept to launch, this role is for you!

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll be the champion of customer specifications, making sure each one is accurate and completed on time. Here’s how you’ll be making a difference:

Own the Spec Game: Write and manage customer and internal factory specs like a pro, using the latest systems and portals.

Online Systems Guru: Take charge of retailer systems to keep everything running smoothly.

Deadline Defender: Ensure all specifications are accurate and hit the mark within deadlines.

Artwork Checker Extraordinaire: Review artwork to ensure it meets all legal and customer standards.

Master of Codes: Create and add product, ingredient, and raw material codes to the Specification and MRP Systems – accurately and efficiently.

Customer Connection: Be the direct point of contact for customers, resolving any spec-related questions.

Technical Team Player: Collaborate with departments and suppliers, ensuring seamless cross-functional teamwork.

Data Wizard: Upload data to government systems to generate essential certificates and statements.

Alert Actioner: Keep everyone in the loop by managing customer alerts internally and externally.

Query Solver: Respond to both internal and external specification queries, ensuring everyone has the answers they need.
